Despite Ranil being sworn in as PM, only we have 113-majority: Rajitha

Date:

Despite any move to swear in Ranil Wickremesinghe as the Prime Minister today (12) he is not of the capacity to show the 113-majority in Parliament and the resolution tabled by the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) to form a new government, therefore, cannot be denied by anyone, SJB MP Dr. Rajitha Senaratne told LNW.

“Even if Mr. Ranil Wickremesinghe is to be sworn in as the Prime Minister, he cannot show the 113. He has counted the 113 with our seats. None of our members will leave. Not even Harin Fernando who declared to be independent yesterday. Accordingly, only we can show the 113. Therefore, our resolution cannot be denied by anyone,” he said.
