Cabinet approves restructuring of CEB

The Cabinet has approved the restructuring of the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) revealed Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekara.

Accordingly, proposals in this regard will be formulated and tabled in Parliament for approval within a month, the Minister noted.

The CEB is known for its nature of incurring losses for many years and it is pivotal that the matter be immediately resolved amidst the economic crisis in the country.
