Consumer Rights Activist invites Opposition to join ‘queues’ and bring struggle before International Community (VIDEO)

Date:

Chairman of the Foundation for the Protection of Public Rights and Consumer Rights Activist Asela Sampath speaking to a briefing held in Colombo today (10) invited Leader of the Opposition Sajith Premadasa and Leader of the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) Anura Kumara Dissanayake to bring the country’s economic struggle before the International Community by joining the queues.

He urged the Opposition Leader to spare his act of distributing hospital equipment and join the milk powder and gas queues immediately.

The hospital scheme will be maintained by the Health Ministry, Sampath went on, adding that if the Opposition receives foreign aid, it should be trying to allocate them for the distribution of kerosene stoves for the people and some milk powder for the children.
