Shiranthi Rajapaksa, the wife of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, has been arrested by officers of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC).
She was arrested at the residence in Kirulapone where former President Mahinda Rajapaksa currently resides. Officials are reportedly taking her to the CIABOC premises for further proceedings.
It has also been reported that she is scheduled to be produced before the Colombo Magistrate’s Court today (07).
