Colombo National Hospital Back to Normal After Flash Flooding

Operations at the Colombo National Hospital have returned to normal after heavy rain caused flash flooding that disrupted some hospital activities.

Staff cleaned up the affected areas within a few hours, allowing services to resume as usual.

The flooding followed intense rainfall in Colombo, with the Meteorology Department recording 129 mm within a few hours, which inundated several roads and low-lying areas across the city.
