Date:

Representatives of all civil movements and trade unions will be visiting the Presidential Secretariat tomorrow (03) demanding the immediate appointment of a Presidential Commission to probe into the ongoing power crisis, said the Public Rights Protection Foundation, calling in a briefing today (02).

Union Convener Asela Sampath noted that the President should immediately look into the truth behind this power crisis.

By doing so, who are taking the commissions from private power plants and who is blocking the construction of solar power plants can be revealed, he added.
