Chamara Sampath acquitted from allegation of kneeling a school principal

The Badulla Magistrate Court has acquitted MP Chamara Sampath Dasanayake on a charge of kneeling a school principal.

This was when the case filed in connection with the event was taken up today (15).

Dissanayake was accused of kneeling a principal when he served as the Chief Minister of the Uva Provincial Council and Bhavani Raghunathan, principal of the Badulla Tamil Girl’s College and the supposed victim of the event, had lodged a complaint with the Police.

The Badulla Police thereafter filed a case in the Magistrate Court regarding the complaint.
