Life in prison is very sad, but people are suffering even more – Ranjan (VIDEO)

Former parliamentarian Ranjan Ramanayake was summoned yesterday (07) before a special presidential commission appointed by President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa to investigate the anti-corruption committee that was active during the Yahapalana government.

Ramanayake was brought before the Commission by the prison officials to be produced before the Commission.

Q: Ranjan, how are you?

“Life in the prison is very sad, but people are suffering even more”

Q. What do you think about the protests of the people?

“People’s protest is completely fair”

Question: What do you mean by fair?

“People are suffering. There is no fuel, no gas, no petrol, no food, no drink ”

“People are forbidden from speaking”
