Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa in a tweet urged the general public to exercise restraint and stressed that violence only begets violence, as pro-government protesters launched a massive assault at GotaGoGama, a hypothetical village established in GalleFace in objection to the current President and the administration, leading to an islandwide curfew.
“The economic crisis we’re in needs an economic solution which this adminstration is committed to resolving,” the Prime Minister said.
