The Public Utilities Commission states that a five hour power cut has been granted today (12).
Earlier the daily power cut was 03.20 hours and this period had to be extended due to fuel shortage.
Accordingly, a 5 hour power cut will be imposed on ABCDEFGHIJKLPQRSTUVW between 08.00 am and 11.30 pm.
That is 03.20 hours during the day and 01.40 hours at night.
In addition, there will be a 03.00 hour power cut for MNOXYZ and CC zones today.
