The Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court has announced that the decision on the bail application of former President Ranil Wickremesinghe, who was taken into custody earlier today (22), will be postponed by half an hour.
Wickremesinghe was arrested this afternoon by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) over allegations that state funds were used for a private visit to London during his presidency.
