Sri Lanka Police Announces Revised Fees for Public Services

COLOMBO – The Sri Lanka Police has announced the revised fee structure for services provided to the public, including police clearances, permits, and reports.

According to the new schedule:

  • Police Clearance Reports for overseas travel and related real-time services – Rs. 5,000
  • Broadcast Permit Fees:
    • Up to 6 hours – Rs. 500
    • 6 to 12 hours – Rs. 1,000
    • More than 12 hours – Rs. 2,000
  • Police Reports:
    • For Middle Eastern countries (issued by divisional police stations) – Rs. 500
    • For domestic purposes (issued by OIC) – Rs. 300
  • Copies of complaints – Rs. 50 per copy

The Police urged the public to ensure that official receipts are obtained for all payments made for these services.
