DP Education IT Campus Opens 167th Branch in Teldeniya

In line with its mission to create one million jobs in Sri Lanka’s information technology sector, the Dhammika and Priscilla Perera Foundation inaugurated the 167th branch of the DP Education IT Campus program on September 9, 2025, in Teldeniya, Medadumbara Divisional Secretariat, Kandy District.

The opening ceremony drew a large gathering, including principals, teachers, parents, and students from the surrounding area.

Through this initiative, students gain access to a computer programming course valued at Rs. 2.5 million, offered completely free of charge. The program is specifically designed to prepare learners with the fundamental qualifications required for careers in the IT industry.

In addition to employment pathways, students also have the opportunity to further their education by enrolling in advanced courses conducted by the Universities of Moratuwa, Kelaniya, and Ruhuna.

Parents are encouraged to connect with the nearest DP Education IT Campus branch to enroll their children in this Rs. 2.5 million-worth free IT training program, ensuring they build a strong foundation for future opportunities in technology.
