Former MP Niroshan Premaratne has been appointed as the Chairman of the Independent Television Network (ITN) effective from today (03).
Premaratne, who represented Matara as a former MP, was defeated in the last General Election.
Prior to his arrival in politics, Premaratne served as a television personality in ITN for many years.
