Basil to resign today. A media briefing convened at Nelum Mawatha

It is reported that the founder of the SLPP and its national organizer Basil Rajapaksa is due to resign from his post as a Member of Parliament today (09).

It is said that a media briefing will be held today at the headquarters of the SLPP at Nelum Mawatha, Battaramulla to explain the situation regarding the resignation.

Basil Rajapaksa was sworn in as a Member of Parliament on July 08, 2021.
