The Engineers Union of the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) has commenced an island wide strike from midnight yesterday (08).
According to sources, electricity has been disrupted in several areas in Colombo, Gampaha, Kegalle and Kandy since around 04.00 am today (09).
