Nearly 44,000 People Affected by Cyclonic Storm Ditwah

A total of 43,991 individuals from 12,313 families have been affected by the extreme weather conditions triggered by Cyclonic Storm Ditwah, the Disaster Management Centre (DMC) reported.

According to the latest update:

  • 56 people have died
  • 14 have been injured
  • 21 remain missing

The DMC further noted that four houses have been fully destroyed, while 666 houses have been partially damagedacross the affected districts.
