Security has been tightened at the official residences of the three armed forces commanders and the defense secretary located at Baudhaloka Mawatha, Colombo 07.
It is said that security has been tightened by deploying security forces and barbed wire has also been used.
By this time, the protest has become active again and the Prime Minister’s Secretariat has also been taken over by the activists.
As of now, Ranil Wickramasinghe is acting as the Acting President even though the President has left the country, but the protestors are insisting that he should resign immediately.
