President Ranil Wickramasinghe is currently arrived in Parliament. That is for the opening of the third session of the Ninth Parliament.
After the arrival of Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena and Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena, President Ranil Wickremesinghe came to the Parliament and the President was welcomed by the Speaker and the General Secretary of the Parliament.
After that, the three-armed salute is currently held for the President.
The President will present the program of the new government to the Parliament after the commencement of the proceedings of the Parliament.
