Sirisena to kick out SLFP members who were sworn in as ministers!

Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) Leader and former President Maithripala Sirisena is preparing to dismiss party members who were sworn in as Cabinet Ministers and State Ministers of the Ranil Wickremesinghe regime, sources disclosed.

In a first step of his move, the former President has decided to relieve them all from the titles in the party, and several days ago, a special discussion was also held in this regard at his residence, according to sources.

The SLFP Party Constitution was recently amended allowing the Party Leader, who is Sirisena, to dismiss any member who violates decisions made by the Party.
