Keheliya indicted for using public money to pay household bills

Minister Keheliya Rambukwella and two others were indicted for misappropriation of public funds at the Colombo High Court today.

The case assigned by the Bribery Commission was called before the Colombo High Court today.

After handing over the indictment, the High Court decided to release the minister and the defendants on bail and the case is scheduled to be heard again on November 3rd.

The minister has been accused of using public money to settle the telephone bill at his home.
