OICs serving more than three years at same station to be given transfers

Police Officers in Charge (OIC) who are serving more than three years at the same station will be given transfers, said Public Security Minister Tiran Alles, revealing that about 1,300 applications have already received upon the calling in of applications for new OICs.

The Minister added that 1090 eligible applicants have already been selected and will be appointed as Police OICs soon.

Alles promised that the appointment of OICs is not politically tampered with and that each officer will be appointed to the most suitable station based on their qualifications.
