China has assured President Ranil Wickremesinghe that they will continue to support Sri Lanka to overcome the challenges facing the island due to the ongoing economic crisis.
This was informed to the President by Qi Zhenhong, Chinese Ambassador to Sri Lanka, during a visit between the two two days (25) ago.
The two parties also exchanged a review on the bilateral and multilateral negotiations considering the debt crisis affecting Sri Lanka.
Meanwhile, the Chinese Embassy in Colombo also denounced certain misinformation carried by foreign media on China.
