09 Underworld kingpins including ‘Kimbula Ele Guna’ arrested in India!

Nine Underworld leaders known for direct ties with drug and arms trafficking in Sri Lanka, including ‘Kimbula Ele Guna’, ‘Ladiya’ and ‘Welle Suranga’ have been apprehended in India.

These Underworld kingpins were seized by the Indian National Investigation Agency yesterday (19) as they were discovered to be hiding in a refugee camp in Tamil Nadu.

The arrestees are C. Gunasekaran alias ‘Guna’, Pushparaja alias ‘Pookutu Kanna’, Mohammed Azmin, Sunil Gamini Fonseka, Stanley Kennedy Fernando, Ladiya, Dhanushka Rohan, Welle Suranga and Dileepan, according to Indian media.

Further investigations are currently underway, reports added.
