It is reported that a special meeting of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party parliamentary group representing the government will be held today. It was presided over by the President of the SLFP, former President Maithripala Sirisena.
Sources say that the future political activities of the party and the current political situation will be discussed at length.
Meanwhile, the SLFP Central Committee is scheduled to meet tomorrow.
