The resignation tendered by P.S.M. Charles, a member of the Election Commission, citing death threats over the phone by an unknown figure, has been denied by President Ranil Wickremesinghe, the President’s Office announced.
Despite Charles’ willingness to tender resignation due to what described as death threats posed over the phone, the President has denied the letter.
