  1. Cabinet approves President Wickremesinghe’s proposal on establishing a ‘National Contributory Pension Scheme’ to allocate retirement payments for public servants enrolled since January, 2016: 08 per cent of the basic salary of a public servant and 12 per cent as contribution by the employer to be credited to the Fund.
  2.
