All Opposition parties join hands against Govt for undermining Judiciary

Colombo (LNW): MPs representing all Opposition Parties in Parliament yesterday (22) signed a joint statement against the Government’s attempt of undermining the Judiciary.

The event took place at the Opposition Leader’s Office, and MPs representing the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB), National People’s Power (NPP), Tamil National Alliance (TNA), Uttara Lanka Sabhagaya, Nidahasa Janatha Sabhawa signed the statement, denoting the crisis befallen the Rule of Law and the Judiciary’s autonomy in Sri Lanka unlike any event in history.
