Colombo (LNW): The Federation of University Teachers (FUTA) is set to hold a special discussion today (25) in making a final decision on their commitment to the evaluation of the answer scripts of the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination.
Consequential to their decision, the government should also intervene to provide an immediate solution to the issue, Sr. Prof. Charudaththe, Media Spokesperson for the FUTA, said.
Meanwhile, Secretary of the Ceylon Teachers’ Union (CTU) Joseph Stalin said it would be problematic that the government has taken steps to evaluate answer scripts of certain subjects with no contribution from university teachers.
