Colombo (LNW): A person was killed by gunfire near Dharmashoka Vidyalaya, Ambalangoda last night (24).
The victim is a three-wheeler driver in the area, and the shooters were reportedly two assailants who arrived in the scene by a motorbike.
The event surfaces only days after the government announced that it will be taking stern measures to curb gun violence in the country.
