New tax to be imposed on imported coconut oil

Colombo (LNW): A new tax will be imposed on imported coconut oil in a move to protect the local coconut oil producers, revealed Finance State Minister Ranjith Siyambalapitiya.

Accordingly, the government has paid its attention on imposing a tax of Rs. 25 per litre of imported coconut oil from next week.
