Official exchange rates: LKR depreciated against USD

Colombo (LNW): The Sri Lankan Rupee has once again depreciated slightly against the US Dollar, as revealed by the official exchange rates of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) today (31), in comparison to last week.

Accordingly, the buying price of the US Dollar has surged to Rs. 322.96 from Rs. 322.66, and the selling price to Rs. 335.40 from Rs. 335.65.

Meanwhile, the Sri Lanka Rupee has appreciated against several other foreign currencies, but indicates depreciation against the Euro, Singapore Dollar, Pound Sterling and Gulf currencies.
