In a move aimed at fostering economic growth and easing supply chain bottlenecks, State Minister Ranjith Siyambalapitiya has revealed that import restrictions on an additional 300 items will be relaxed by the first week of September. This decision comes as part of the government’s efforts to stimulate trade and ensure a smoother flow of essential goods and commodities into the country.
