President Ranil Wickremesinghe has initiated fresh appointments to the Court of Appeal, signaling changes within the judiciary.
As confirmed by the President’s Media Division (PMD), the ceremony saw the oath-taking of High Court Judge M.C.B. Sanjeeva Morais, who assumed the role of a judge within the Court of Appeal.
Additionally, Court of Appeal Judge Sobitha Rajakaruna was inaugurated as the Acting President of the Court of Appeal, further cementing the shifts within this vital judicial institution.
