Colombo (LNW): The ‘Youth For Change’ movement today (26) organised a protest at Lipton Circle demanding freedom for Palestine.

In a unique display of advocacy, the protest was infused with artistic elements.

Esteemed artist Sujith Ratnayake unveiled a painting as his manifesto advocating for Palestine’s freedom, while others added melodies and vocals.

Tensions arose between the protestors and the police, with the latter encircling them until the demonstration concluded.

The event lasted for about an hour.
