Colombo (LNW): Finance State Minister Ranjith Siyambalapitiya said there are plans underway to implement a new property tax from 2025.
This decision aligns with recommendations from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the Minister pointed out.
Elaborating on the details, the State Minister mentioned that the tax would target individuals possessing significant property holdings.
