If we cannot provide relief to the people, we too will have to go to the opposition – Pohottu MP Jagath

Date:

Jagath Kumara, Member of Parliament for SLPP says that it is doubtful whether certain individuals who have joined the government in various positions from organizations such as Wiyatmaga are trying to destroy the country.

“We believed that with the experience of President Mahinda Rajapaksa and President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa and the love for the country, we could save this country. I believe they are still making this effort. But there is a question as to whether those who came from all those “Maga” projects sometimes helped in the destruction of the country. That is why some say that this is not ‘Wiyathmaga’ but ‘Kiyathmaga’.

Everyone is asking the President and the Prime Minister to somehow create an environment for the people on this ground to live. If that doesn’t work, then we really have to get ready to go to the opposition.”

SLPP Parliamentarian Jagath Kumara stated this while expressing his views to the media yesterday (22).
