Deshabandu Tennakoon appointed as the 36th IGP of Sri Lanka

February 27, Colombo (LNW): Deshabandu Tennakoon has been appointed as the 36th Inspector General of Sri Lanka Police (IGP), confirmed the President’s Media Division (PMD).

“The appointment of Deshabandu Tennakoon as the IGP has been made by President Ranil Wickremesinghe in accordance with the provisions stipulated in the Constitution,” stated the PMD.
