The funeral affairs of late senior journalist Bandula Padmakumara were performed at the Borella Public Cemetery this (24) evening.
A pioneer in media and journalism, Mr. Padmakumara served as a media person since 1970 was notable for his contribution to the television program ‘Loka Sithiyama’ and ‘Mul Pituwa’ broadcast on Swarnavahini. He also served as a former chairman of the Lake House.
Padmakumara was 71 at the time of his demise.
