A few showers may occur in the Eastern province.
Showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places in Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in Nuwara-Eliya, Galle and Matara districts in the evening or night.
Mainly dry weather will prevail elsewhere of the island.
Misty conditions can be expected at some places in Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces and in Galle and Kalutara districts during the morning.
