August 08, Colombo (LNW): TThe All-Island Grama Niladhari Officers’ Association has announced a two-day trade union action to protest the arbitrary gazetting of the Grama Niladhari Service Constitution.
General Secretary Jagath Chandralal stated that officers will withdraw from their service duties on Monday and Tuesday. However, he assured that this action will not interfere with election activities.
