Agriculture Minister and Ruling Party MP Mahindananda Aluthgamage speaking in Parliament today (08) said Leader of the United National Party (UNP) Ranil Wickremesinghe is his leader at the moment.
As the Minister was responding to a query by a MP in Parliament, he was interrupted by the Opposition asking if they can raise a question.
Aluthgamage responded: No! If Mr. Ranil Wickremesinghe approves of it I will allow. If Mr. Ranil Wickremesinghe allows me I will approve of it. Yes, he is our leader now!
LNW earlier reported that a national government is due on formation with having Mr. Wickremesinghe as the Premier.
