November 15, Colombo (LNW): The postal voting results of Batticaloa District are as follows;

Illankai Thamil Arasu Kachchi (ITAK): 5,236 (38.41%)
National Peoples Power (NPP): 3,412 (25.03%)
Tamil Makkal Viduthalai Pullical (TMVP): 1,383 (10.15%)
Sri Lanka Muslim Congress (SLMC): 1,019 (7.48%)
Democratic Tamil National Alliance (DTNA): 1,019 (7.48%)
