NPP wins 08 seats in Kalutara District, SJB – 02, NDF – 01

The Election Commission of Sri Lanka has announced the final results for the Kalutara District, with the National People’s Power (NPP) achieving a dominant win, polling over 66% of the total votes.

  • National People’s Power (NPP): 452,398 votes, securing 8 seats
  • Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB): 128,932 votes, securing 2 seats
  • New Democratic Front (NDF): 34,257 votes, securing 1 seat
  • Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP): 27,072 votes
  • Sarvajana Balaya (SRJB): 13,564 votes

This significant victory in Kalutara District reflects NPP’s growing support base and strong presence in the 2024 General Election.
