The Election Commission of Sri Lanka has announced the final results for the Kurunegala District, where the National People’s Power (NPP) has achieved a significant victory with over 69% of the votes.
- National People’s Power (NPP): 651,476 votes, winning 12 seats
- Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB): 189,394 votes, winning 3 seats
- Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP): 35,236 votes
- New Democratic Front (NDF): 30,073 votes
