The Election Commission of Sri Lanka has announced the final results for the Batticaloa District, with the Ilankai Thamil Arasu Kachchi (ITAK) leading with over 33% of the votes.
- Ilankai Thamil Arasu Kachchi (ITAK): 96,975 votes, securing 3 seats
- National People’s Power (NPP): 55,498 votes, securing 1 seat
- Sri Lanka Muslim Congress (SLMC): 40,139 votes, securing 1 seat
- Tamil Makkal Viduthalai Pulikal (TMVP): 31,286 votes
- Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB): 22,570 votes
