The Election Commission of Sri Lanka has released the final results for the Colombo District in the 2024 General Election. The National People’s Power (NPP) emerged victorious, securing over 68% of the total votes in the district.

- National People’s Power (NPP): 788,636 votes (14 seats)
- Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB): 208,249 votes (4 seats)
- New Democratic Front (NDF): 51,020 votes
- Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP): 34,880 votes
- ‘Sarvajana Balaya’ (SRJB): 24,746 votes
