November 21, Colombo (LNW): MP Mohammed Rizwi Salley has been appointed as the Deputy Speaker of Parliament a short while ago.
Salley’s name was proposed by Minister Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa and seconded by MP Saroja Savithri Paulraj.
This appointment follows the appointment of Dr. Asoka Sapumal as the Speaker of the Parliament of Sri Lanka.
