School Holidays Begin as First Phase of Third Term Ends

November 22, Colombo (LNW): The first phase of the third term for Sinhala and Tamil medium government and government-approved schools will conclude tomorrow (22), marking the start of the school term holidays, the Ministry of Education announced.

For Muslim schools, the first phase will end on December 13, with holidays beginning the following day.

The second phase of the third term for the 2024 academic year is scheduled to begin on Thursday, January 2, 2025.
