The event was a celebration of the timeless hits from the legendary Swedish quartet, offering an unforgettable evening filled with nostalgia and high-energy performances that transported the audience back to the heyday of ABBA.

Amongst the distinguished guests present were Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya, Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath, and JVP General Secretary Tilvin Silva, who were seen enjoying the musical journey through ABBA’s greatest hits.

The lively atmosphere was matched by the enthusiasm of the crowd, who sang along to classics like “Dancing Queen,” “Mamma Mia,” and “Take a Chance on Me.”

Renowned photographer Sagara Lakmal De Mel was on hand to capture the essence of the evening, providing stunning images that showcase both the vibrant performances of the band and the joyful energy of the attendees.

The event, which was a true celebration of ABBA’s legacy, highlighted not only the band’s music but also the sense of unity and joy it continues to bring to fans of all ages.

With its seamless blend of nostalgia and impeccable tribute performances, the night was a resounding success, leaving everyone eagerly anticipating the next time they can relive the magic of ABBA’s music.

The tribute echoes the recent regrouping of the original foursome, who released their 9th studio album “Voyage” in 2021, forty years after their official hiatus in 1982.
